Section 52
Arrangements relating to visas

(1) Regardless of what is written in the existing law, a non-tourist visa of up to six months will be granted to foreign nationals who come to study, research or survey the projects permitted under this Act.
(2) A foreign investor who invests in a project or an authorized representative or a family member of such an investor or representative and foreign workers and employees who work in such a project after obtaining a labor permit in accordance with the prevailing law shall be granted a visa to stay in Nepal as long as the foreign investment in the project is maintained in accordance with the prevailing law. Explanation: For the purposes of this section, "family member" means the spouse, mother, father and dependent son, daughter of the foreign investor or his official representative.
(3) The office will provide a recommendation for a visa to the relevant body after considering the need and justification for the person referred to in sub-section (2).
